About Dr. Mohan Raut
Dr. Mohan Raut, MD, DGO, FCRI (ASRI), is a senior consultant obstetrician, gynecologist, and clinical reproductive immunologist with over three and a half decades of dedicated medical practice. A graduate and postgraduate from Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai, he has played a foundational role in integrating reproductive immunology into infertility treatment in India.
In 1992, Dr. Raut participated as a Clinical Research Officer in an International Multicentric Double-Blind Research Programme conducted in association with Oxford University, studying the role of active immunotherapy in recurrent spontaneous abortions. He later advanced this work through his involvement in the Lymphocyte Immunisation Therapy (LIT) Programme in Mumbai under the mentorship of Dr. Usha Krishna, contributing to the structured development of LIT in India.


Together with Dr. Mugdha Raut, he co-founded Dr. Raut’s Centre for Reproductive Immunology (formerly ICPRM), establishing India’s first DCGI-recognised immunotherapy centre dedicated to immune-mediated reproductive failure. The centre follows a standardized and patented LIT protocol, branded as ImmuLIT, aimed at improving pregnancy outcomes in complex infertility cases.
Dr. Raut has been awarded the Fellowship in Clinical Reproductive Immunology (FCRI) by the American Society for Reproductive Immunology (ASRI). He serves as Guest Co-Editor of the American Journal of Reproductive Immunology (AJRI) and is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Evidence-Based Women’s Health Journal (EBWHJ), Egypt, reflecting his strong academic and editorial involvement at a global level.
Beyond clinical and academic work, Dr. Raut is the Managing Trustee of Dr. Raut’s Immunotherapy Foundation, actively promoting awareness of reproductive immunology and supporting initiatives that make advanced infertility care accessible and affordable.
